remember

Hello,
is it possible that WD remember what we have take to décision (ignore)
because when WD scan we see a icone below right with a ! and it is because we
must take a decision upon the scan.
It is always the same decision that we should take for the "same" item and
we can always see the history i there is a problem

Hello Benoit,

in All Settings and Tools, goto Microsoft SpyNet and Become an advanced
Member of Microsoft Spynet.

I think this solve your problem.

Hello,

thanks for the tip but i'am and that solve not my suggestion.

if i set "ignore" or "quarantine" or "allow" for an item from the scan it
should be good that WD remember it.
They can see in history perhaps ?

Hi

I believe this is some software logic that must be
rather easy for MS to fix

Just to "uncheck" notifys for newbies.

But after some testing I now sees the strength with WD.

According to the help file there is supposed to be an "allow always" option
in the drop-down -- there isn't. The "work around" I found was to enter the
offending file in the "ignore" window in the primary setup menu -- that
solves the problem for me but doesn't address the absence of an "allow
always" option.

Hi

"Primary setup meny" ?

Do you mean the scan ignore window
below RTP settings ?

Yes -- right below the RTP settings. While I can't believe that adding the
file to the "ignore window" is the way one is supposed to handle the problem,
it does work.

Hello Plun,

i think it works, so not only for scanning but also RTP! ;)

Hi Tom

Well, "known issues" is soon a book.... ;)

Never seen something like this and I have been involved a lot
with SCADA systems, both hardwired and software controlled.
The man responsible for quality was directly fired with equal
troubles :)

But this one is free so it maybe doesn´t matter.

Nevertheless the core functionality works and hopefully you saw AndyM
great test result with WD.

Rather funny indeed to try out this one... ;)

You and some others--but not me--wonder what's different? Version 7.5. I
think.
