remember password

How to get windows to remember passwords and logons
automatically. When I click remember password box, it
doesn't work!? Can someone assist.
Is there something I need to reset or do on windows
general settings ????

Hello!
Outlook Express keeps prompting for your password - Fix
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/tips/xp oe passwords.htm

This fix also applies to Outlook, other programs that store passwords
in the Protected Storage System Provider sub-branch of the Registry.
It also corrects some issues with Internet Explorer and AutoComplete.
