Reloading XP Home Edition Lost Disc

A friend of mine was having trouble with his Dell 2350 with XP Home Edition
that came with his computer. It was missing some components. He recently
moved and lost his Reinstallation Cd. I tried to use the one that I have from
an identical machine to reload XP on his computer. Now I can't get it to
activate useing either his or my key numbers. What to do?

Call Dell for the replacment CD.
