Release Candidate and Sourcesafe

V

Vayse

I've installed Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite - Release Candidate. Before
hand, I removed all my .net stuff.
But now I have no Source Safe. Should I install the Beta 2 version I had, or
is there an newer version somewhere?

What Source Safe have you lost?

AFAIK, SourceSafe 2005 comes in the VS 2005 Team Suite CD. If it is
SourceSafe 6.0d, you have to get it from Visual Studio 6.0, VS.NET 2002 or
VS.NET 2003.

I've lost Source Safe 2005. I have other issues with the install anyway, so
hopefully a fresh install will fix it.

Hi

Where did you get the CD, have you tried to get a new one?

I downloaded the ISO image from MSDN subscriber downloads on Monday. Most of
the files are dated 31/08/05.
I see now that a new version was added yesterday - Visual Studio 2005
Professional Edition.
I'll download that instead.

Hi

So I am confusion what is your concern now.
If you want the old version, I think you may try to contact your CD vendor
or contact the Phone No. in the link below to see if there is the old
version CD available.
