Reinstalling XP

Hello,
Does anyone know that if I replace my hard drive, will I
then need a new XP restore disc so that I can reload all my
previous software that was preinstalled when I bought it?
Or will I need to receive new quickrestore CD's from Compaq.
I have a Compaq Presario 2700 notebook, with XP home edition.

Please, any information will be very appreciated.

Hi,

You need to order QuickRestore CDs from Compaq website:

http://qrcons.orderz.com/page1.asp

You can also order a new QuickRestore CD by calling the Compaq Order
Center at 1-800-841-2761 in the U.S. (1-800-952-7689 in Canada), and
selecting Option 1.

After purchasing the QR CDs, perform a FullRestore in your system with QR
CDs.
