reinstalling xp

i have had to reinstall xp, but i think i did something wrong ! i did
not.... reformat the harddrive and i think i should have, can someone tell
me should i have done that ? because it seems like i`m running out of
space ,and there is not that much on here !

What problems have you got now, after the re-installation?

well when i run defrag it tells me that i don`t have enough space on the
disk, and that i should try to delete some file not used, it says it needs
15 % and i don`t have that . but it offers to run it anyway, but also i
have`nt put that much info on here to take up 20 gb !
