Reinstalling XP on a RAID mirror workstation??

I have a workstation that I need to reinstall XP on and its a mirrored SATA
set. I try to boot from the XP disk and I get the Windows is starting and
then it blue screens. Is there any way I can get rid of the mirror and use
just one drive? Do I need to disconnect one of the SATA drives? How about
the jumper settings? Do I need to delete the mirror first or does it matter?
Any suggestions would greatly help.

Thanks in advance!

When booting to xp cd,you need to press the F6 option & install the RAID
controller drivers from the floppy disk.Once thru, procceed to xp set
up.....Also,
SATA drives dont use jumper pins, also, booting just to one (breaking the RAID
set),makes no sense, you still need the drivers for xp to "see" the RAID
controller
the solo SATA drive is running from....
