i want to reinstall my windows Xp and since i have never
done this before i want to ask a few questions.

i only have a cd( called back up)that came with the
computer. Since i dont have a floppy i cant just put that
in and start the installation. Do i have to go into bios
and change the settings to boot from cd-rom?

along with the reinstallation i want to add another
harddrive. would i be able to boot my os after i simply
plug in another Harddrive and then start the
reinstallation from autorun in windows??

I dont know about fitting new drives but if you tap f2 as
your computer starts you get a menu .>boot sequence>bring
the bootable drive to the top using "nav keys" & "-"

That's on your computer. Others are DEL, ESC, F1.............
