I want to reinstall windows xp to clean up my computer. I do not get the
boot to cd prompt when the cd is inserted and the computer is rebooted.
I tried pressing f8 and did not see a boot to cd option there.
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to go to your computer bios and change the option so it will boot
first from cd rom. Whee you start you computer you will see a black screen,
press "delete" or "f12" to enter to the bios.

I got a message from incredimail to download an up date, which i did. Now I
can't get my msn page. I get google and incredimail for my home page. Any
advice?
Thanks,
W Ferg.

That's correct.

Whee you start you computer you will see a black screen,
press "delete" or "f12" to enter to the bios.

But that isn't necessarily correct. What key you have to press depends on
what motherboard/BIOS you have. One common way is to press the Del key when
you first power on, but that's not necessarily right for every computer.
Watch the screen carefully when you first boot; there's often a message
there telling you what to do. If not, check your system documentation or
check with your vendor.

Thank you. I used F12 for my Dell 4400. Everything worked fine and I'm up
and running again.
