Reinstalling Windows XP - Safe?

I'm sorry - didn't see the reboot comment!

If you put in the XP CD and choose repair instead of a
clean install you shouldn't loose anything.
 
Shouldnt loose anything ? Repair doesnt install xp,if you want t
reinstall xp choose to before entering repair,choose not a fresh cop
of installing xp,this way it overwrites the files.
