Reinstalling Windows XP Home with correct

Recently reinstalled Windows XP home edition with my XP Home Upgrade. I made
an error drive partition sizing and did not leave enough space in My C
drive partition. The system works . I would like to make another complete
correct install with correct sizing ( partition size)of my C: drive but I
cant do it. I get Error messages of 1. Not enough space on C drive and 2.
Existing Windows is already Running.
The size of the existing partitions are C: 7.74 MB and E: 20.8 GB. I deleted
a small D: partition. What can I do to make a complete Reinstall?

Do you have a previous Windows cd (like Windows 98) that you can use to
prove to XP Home Upgrade that you have a qualifying upgradeable product?
If so just boot the computer with the XP Home upgrade cd and when you
get to the screen asking on which partition you want to install, and
showing you the available disk partitions, delete all the partitions
then recreate them as you want them. To avoid drive letter assignment
mix-ups exit the XP setup program after you delete and create the new
partition(s). Reboot the computer and restart the installation
selecting the desired (new) partition that you want to install XP on.
If you don't reboot after you delete and create the partitions your XP
installation may end up on a drive other than "C:\" Format the new
partition full NTFS.
