Reinstalling Windows XP from partitioned Drive

Andy K

Hi

It seems my C: drive has errors and I need to reload XP.
When I purchased my PC 18 months back - I did not get a XP
CD- but my hard disk was partitioned. D: drive was my
recovery drive

Question is - if I reload Windows XP from D: drive - would
I loose all my data on C: drive - OR does windows XP only
reloads windows?

To reload xp you wont loose data, however if you format the drive you will
loose all data. You probably get the options,as reg xp cd users have.

You will need to consult your system documentation, as each OEM has their
own recovery procedures.
