Reinstalling Outlook

I have an unfixable problem with my Outlook 2000 address book not seeing the
emails from my contact list. Finally I tried removing Office 2000 and
reloading it using the ad/remove function in control panel. However, when I
reloaded Office 2000, outlook had all the same address book, mail files etc.
I have made a backup of all these to pst files so I can reload them. How do
I get Outlook removed completely and then reload fresh so I can import these
and get my address book to work again?

Hi,
Try this,
Close all other Office programs, insert you Office setup CD,
Click HELP on the Outlook menu bar and then "Detect and repair"
After finishing the progress restart computer and try again.
