Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the C:\WINNT\INF directory. It is a
hidden sub directory so you will have to enable 'view hidden files' in
Explorer to see it. Next locate a file in that directory called
dfrg.inf. 'Right' click on that file and choose 'install' from the
pop-up menu. That should do it. Reboot if you wish and try to run
defrag from the start button or menu. Good Luck.
