ANOTHER COMPUTER IS THART TRUE WITH XP

Don't know about Vista, but as long as it is a Retail version of XP - Yes
OEM version of XP - No you can not use it on another PC.

Ouch! Please don't yell at us. We can hear you if you type normally,
in mixed case.

There are two types of Windows licenses--Retail and OEM. If yours is a
retail license, regardless of what version of Windows you are talking
about (Vista, XP, or anything else), yes, you can move it from one
computer to another. The only restriction is that you may not have it
installed on two computers at the same time.

But if yours is an OEM license (for example, if it came with the
computer), the license restricts it the first computer it's installed
on and it can never be moved to another--not even if the original
computer dies. This is perhaps the biggest disadvantage of OEM
licenses, and the main reason they are cheaper than retail ones.
