I installed xp home over the xp pro, and now I can't access me personal documents. The folder is still on my harddrive, but I can't access it, Any Ideas?

You can not install Home over top of Pro with out reformatting the hard
drive. Home is a smaller version of Pro and now the installed version on
the hard drive is screwed up.

If you receive the errors "Access Denied" while accessing the folder, Take Ownership of that folder. Login as Administrator from Safe mode (XP Home)

Login as Safe Mode, login as 'administrator', open properties of the
folder, click Security, Advanced and take ownership of the folders.
Then you can apply permissions to yourself to access them again.
