Reinstall windows installer 2.0 for XP

My installer is corrupt and I can't find any info on how
to reinstall it. I have done it before but can't remember
how or where I found the info at. Thanks.

Reinstall Windows XP Installer:

1. Click Start and click Run.
2. Now, type CMD.EXE and press enter to open command prompt.
3. In command prompt Window type the following command and press enter after
each command:

C:

cd\

msiexec /unregister

msiexec /regserver

Exit

After coming out of the command prompt Window, restart the computer once and
try installing the software again and you should be able to install the
software without any problem.
