I inadvertently deleted the Times Roman Fonts on my Vista computer. I was
not able to locate them on my install DVD that came with my system (actually
it's an Anytime Upgrade DVD) so I copied them from my old XP system.
However, while they appear to work, I've been having other font issues since
I copied them over. Does anyone know where to look on the Vista DVD, or the
Microsoft web site for the Vista versions? Any help would be greatly
appreciated

Hi,

Two ways you might get the original back.
Open Explorer and navigate to the Windows\Fonts folder.
Right click the Times New Roman font you now have and select Properties.
Click on the Previous Versions tab.
If you have any luck you will see one listed, just click Restore.

If that don't work right click a empty area in the same window.
Select "Install New Font"
On the left side under Folders: double click Windows then winsxs then Backup
Give it time to load then select your font.
Make sure the Copy to Fonts folder is checked then select Install
