Reinstall USB

Does anybody know how to reinstall USB 2.0 drivers in xp
home? Everytime I plug in my new external USB DVDRW it
gives me a blue screen and resets my computer. Has to be
the USB drivers because it did the same thing for a
different external dvd writer.

Sean, did you install the SP1 Windows Update. If not go here
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp

If the DVD Drive came with Software, that has to be installed first. Then
connect the Drive physically.
