Reinstall Norton 2003 after new Cdrive

I would appreciate any info that could help me reinstall Norton 2003 anti-virus after I just put in a new C drive. The Operating Sytem is Windows XP and I've had tremendous problems with Trojan Horses and various virus type activity including, of course, spyware. All of that was on the old C drive of a Gateway 600 series Notebook. As you may expect, I am anxious to reinstall Norton 2003 before spending much time online. Also, I purchased from Enigma Software a great anti spyware program called Spyhunter. I checked it out pretty well - it seemed to good to be true at first. It scans the system in one-third the time that Norton does and ACTUALLY LOCATES AND GETS RID OF THE VIRUS AND VIRUS-TYPE THINGS that Norton 2003 claims it will do. I MUST SAY that Norton has responded well each time a malicious script is detected and my system was saved. HOWEVER, I could run a scan for virus (taking about one hour0 and it would respond, "System has no viruses." The "Spyhunter" software found over 1000 virus and virus type things the first scan! I freed up over 25% of my C drive ridding it of "junk" files. The two programs: Norton Anti Virus and Enigma Spyhunter seem to work like i need. I have given Norton a message or two that the "2003" program makes claims that it can't actually do. Really, after I would run a scan I could go to Program Files and see "Ezula" or whatever still there. Not so after running the Enigma Spyhunter in 2/3 the time. OK...I have subscriptions to both these, I need to install Norton ASAP...any pointers other than what the Symantec sight gives? It seems unhelpful. If anyone has a simpler or better way to reinstall Norton Anti-Virus 2003 on a Gateway 600 series Notebook just after C drive change and a clean install of Windows XP - please tell me what you know. The other program is next. Thanks to any beneficial info. TheGator

Don't you know how to use paragraphs to outline your thoughts? While we're
at it, can't you learn to post in text instead of HTML? Your mass of
wording is extremely hard to follow without paragraphs. You must be a
Calvinist of some sort..
