Registry value keeps getting reset by services.exe

We work with a software tool here and for that tool to
work properly, we need to manually set the registry keys
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanman
server\parameters\enablesecuritysignature and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanman
server\parameters\requiresecuritysignature to 0. But every
now and then the first key gets reset to 1 by services.exe
(I tracked that down with RegMon) and I don't have the
slightest idea why services.exe keeps resetting the value.
Can anybody help me out here?
