Registry Modification to HKey Local Machine

Is there a way to modify a registry key in HKey Local Machine?

I have a number of programs that store data in the registry, but always in
HKey Current User.

Anyone know how to read and write HKey Local Machine?

Never mind, I read the documentation wrong. HKey Local Machine does work
with RegistryKey.

True, but remember on most machines, HKLM is readonly.
