Registry keys for GPO

Hi,

Can someone confirm that any registry values placed under one of these
4 keys will be removed each time the client detected a change in group
policy. The 4 keys are:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies

Thanks

Not "any", but every setting, that was done by this deleted or no longer
valid GPO.

I have add one registry key in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\checkkey,4,1
through
the GPO.

But when I removed this key from the GPO- inf file and reapply the GPO
(client perform gpupdate), the client machine still have
this key in it. Why it is so? Shouldn't this key being removed since
the reapplied GPO does not contain
the key anymore.

Thanks

Ah, thats something else ...

The "remove" of registry keys only works for administrative templates :-(
