Registry Key Information for Outlook 2000

Is there a registry key entry for effecting the default setting of the
Preview Panel in Outlook 2000? If so, what is the "key identification" and
the "key value" that would set the default value of the Preview Panel to OFF?

I know that I can turn the Preview Panel off by using the /nopreview switch
BUT I really, really want to make sure that it is turned off in all of the
Icons that are scattered around in the various user accounts.

There is no such registry value to control the behavior of the preview/reading pane in any Outlook version.
