Registry Help

Hey Guys,

I was "tweaking" my computer by messing with the
registry alittle and I messed it up. I know exactly
which registry changes need to be made, but I can't get
into Windows at all in order to make the changes. I was
wondering if anybody here could tell me how to make
changes to the registry through the Recovery Console or
Command Prompt. Also, I don't know if I am in the right
newsgroup for this kind of problem. If you have a
suggestion on where I can go for help, do tell. Thanks

Hi,

You can't edit the registry from the command prompt (or the Recovery
Console). You can only restore a backup. This is what you will need to do if
you expect to recover the system.
