Registry Error? Program Help Files Missing

Previously installed programs seem to have broken links to Help files.
Clicking on Help gives the generic "Action Cancelled - Internet Explorer
cannot access page requested". These programs are not on line help sites.
Last installed program was Simply Accounting upgrade, problem has been
noticed since then on all existing programs. Is this a registry issue?
 
You might try creating a new user with adm. rights,restart computer,open xp
in new user,try the problem areas you had.If all is well,the old account is
corr-
upted,delete.A corrupted account gets 1st noticed in those areas.If new
account
doesnt solve it,read and run as outlined in kb 307545 It also repairs.
