Hi, I recently used PartitionMagic to partition my hard drive. It has meant
that some of the icon entry keys (DefaultIcon) point to the wrong files. I
can locate the files that they need to point to fine, but many of the icon
dll's contain 2 or more icons. How do I make them point to the 2nd or 3rd
etc. icon in the dll? I have noticed that some other, correct, DefaultIcon
keys have entries like filename.exe,-120, but am unsure what number I need
to use. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Ben,

Download and use ResHacker. Browse to the area in question and choose the
appropriate icon number and change it in the registry. The where depends on
the who and what.

THe straightforward usage is filename.exe,25 say - counting from the
start, first icon being 0.
