registry editor

I was told by EA to use registry editor to remove a file
that prevents me from reinstalling Medal of Honor, but
the Registry Editor Window keeps closing before i can
expand all the keys i need to. Window only seems to be
open between 3-5 seconds. What is wrong...Is there
another way to remove file or access Registry editor.

you may have a virus.
i've had 'em where they wont let me open defrag, scandisk,
and regedit, or go to the symantec site.
