Hi
Vista Ultimate - fully updated

When I use 'Find' in the RegEdit program, and when a match is found, the
list on the left sometimes has a highlight indicating which key the right
panel is listing - *but* most of the time, the list on the left is
completely barren of any indication as to which one is listed in the right
hand panel.

Question: is there a way to perhaps edit the folder icon for the left hand
panel such that a matched item icon is different from the others listed? Or
perhaps, some other way to indicate which item in the left panel is being
listed in the right panel?

I was trying to find some reference to MS Office Picture Manager - Send To
list. The idea was to try to add Paint as a Send To item (only Word and
Excel are shown just now - these are the only Office programmes I have
installed).

Any help/pointers gratefully received.

Hi, Les.

Many of us have griped about that through several generations of RegEdit.
:>(

Of course, we can look at the Status Bar to see which key is currently in
focus.

RegEditX will solve the problem.

http://www.regeditx.com/

It's still called beta 2 but I have had no problems with it, both XP and Vista.
It's free . (You have to run as Admin in Vista.)
