registry edit

[david campbell]

I need to update the registry using a file called
monitor.reg - it will add keys that were not installed
properly as part of a program. When I add the file, I get
a message that I am unable to access the registry.

I have administrator rights so do not know what is going
on.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

the text of the error is

cannot import u:\down\monitor.reg unable to access the
registry
