Is there a registry key that can be edited to remove the
check from "keep the taskbar on top of other windows"? I
want to make a global change to a number of machines
without having to touch each one. If I can find the key I
can do it through scripts.

Thanks for any help!

Don't know exactly where, but I'd start here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advance
d

HTH

courtney....

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRe
cts2
and it's the third Dword
Const ABS_ALWAYSONTOP = &H2
Const ABS_AUTOHIDE = &H1

Any advice given is my attempt to show appreciation for all

Be cautious of Tweak XP. It has pulled together a lot of popular tweaks
in a handy interface, without any real discrimination. MAny are useful
- some are not, and the offering on 'Memory management' in tuning is
positively harmful. I would avoid any of its tuning tweaks - or at
least study effects critically and be prepared to revert with a System
Restore to remove them quickly

Yea I agree Alex. For queries like his it may be
useful, but ones I saw about performance, memory
management,.. (where there's effects on other 'stuff')
I looked at with the same expression when a guy offered
me a watch on the bridge from Tijuana :)

Thanks 4 warning- Larry
