Go here;
http://home.t-online.de/home/lars.hederer/erunt/ and download the NTREGOPT file, and install. This utility optimises the registry. I would never (personally) recommend any registry cleaner, no matter how touted they are. XP handles the registry just fine on its own.

No, ERUNT is not a compacting utility in any sense; it backs up one's registry only, you non-reading pillock.! You'd have this guy download and install an item he has no need for. He'd be better served using the NTREGOPT from the same web site, for the purpose he stated.
