Registry Clean (free) ??

My daughter downloaded some spyware, and although I've
cleaned it up, she still gets an error (something about
Tangent) when starting her computer. You can just hit OK
and continue, but I'd like to clean up these leftover
fragments. Is there a good, SAFE registry cleaning tool
out there, or can you recommend some other way to clean up
these left behind fragments.
