when I ran windows vista setup but It did not let me register this
so thats why I need a product key

I don't think Microsoft can do anything about your not
reading the information and not registering for the Product
Key. Your situation is primarily, if not totally, your
fault for failing to read and follow instructions &
information. There is no way this can be fixed in Vista -
you have to fix this one yourself.
