I had to reload my computer from disks and the teck that
helped said that I needed to register it within 30 days. I
did what you told Gordon but it said it was already
registered? This is the first time I have tried to do it.
It was registered on the computer when I bought it. Will
it cutout at the end of 30 days I do not want to go
through setting up everything and losing things again.

Activation......your're talking about activation. Is there a reminder in
your sys tray saying there are x # of days left? If so, it's easy to do
either online, or by a free 5 minute call to MS.......and yes, XP will cease
to function if not activated in time. Registering XP is optional.[/QUOTE]
