registering Outlook 2002 to a new computer

I'm the proud owner and avid user of Outlook 2002. I sync my notes, calendar
& contacts with my pda phone on a daily basis.
I just bought a new computer. The old one is fatally wounded. So I tried to
install my outlook on the new one, and it doesn't accept it, since it's
registered to another computer.
I really need this program. I even looked to by a stand-alone version, but
they don't seem to be available by themselves and I have no interest in the
rest of the office suite.

Any help is HIGHLY appreciated.

If its a retail edition of OL2002 there should be no reason you cannot
install from the cd, however if its an OEM edition its tied to the origonal
PC.
Also assuming your new PC is Vista, OL2002 is not fully compatible with
Vista, and will give problems.
Outlook 2007 is available as a standalone product from eg Amazon.com.
You also have to uninstall any trial version first
