I missed registering my windows xp ona clean install and my pop up at the
task bar reminds me of how many days I have left but I miss clicking on
it...where do I have to go to register my windows xp...please help thanks
only have 4 more days left

Hi Shay,

There is a difference between activation and registering. The latter isn't
needed.

Go to Start/Run/CMD and type in: oobe/msoobe /a

Added info: smoobe stands for Microsoft Out of Box Experience.

I suppose "oobe/msoobe /a" cannot run in the prompt mode but should work
just in Run dialog box.
