The Regedit file should be in the c:\windows folder, if
it isn't you will have to unpack it from the cab files on
the XPHome disk.

An XP CD does not go in for cab files. Files are individually
compressed and in a folder i386

To get out say regedit..exe, Start - Run MSConfig.exe and use the Expand
Files button to expand the
<CDletter>:\i386\regedit.ex_
to
C:\Windows\regedit.exe
