Regedit has got locked

Hi,

Whenever I am trying to open the registry entry (Start>Run>Regedit) I
am getting an error message - Administrator has locked Regedit.

Some Virus has affected my machine and lost the folders option entry.
To get back the entry I tried to open the Regedit. But Regedit itself
is not working.

Any help appreciated.
