regclean and powertoys

How do I download these utilities to my computer for Window
2000? I need to uninstall some software.

You can use the HTTP protocol to download them if they're available on a Web
site. Or, the site may offer a download via the FTP protocol. Either one
should would. I do not believe that you will find any options to use the
gopher protocol.

Wow... thanks a lot, i didn't know that, maybe thats why I'm
waiting so long for fresh fire.
Do you have an idea on how to keep my wife warm in the mean
time, or better sell her for an Elephant?

I removed a software but it is not complete so everytime I
tried to install the software again, it will give me this
"Error number: 0x80004050. Description: unknow error.
Setup will be terminate".

The software vendor suggest me to download these utilities.
I got the powertoys as you suggest below. How about
regclean. Is there any new ones that I can down load.

Setup will be terminate".

The software vendor suggest me to download these utilities.
I got the powertoys as you suggest below. How about

If you are familiar with registry editing you can search the
registry for any keys or values with Altera.
Backup these contents, then delete the keys.

Or search Google for "registry cleaner".
You'll find a few hundred ;)
They all still need the users judgement to give a Go or No Go
for deleting entries.

Besides that, I think Altera support gave you a cheap answer.
They should be able to guide you through the registry or Windows
files and folders to search for left overs of their software.
