Hi!

I would like to know can I use IAS(Internet
Authetication Service) as a service that can autheticate
my LAN users when they try to access internet. In other
words i mean, that can i use this IAS as a proxy service.
That can autheticate my users.
I am not able to use the Internet sharing as my curent IP
addressing doesn't start with 192.168.x.x

Thaks and regards,
Prashant.

That is not something that IAS can do. Are you confusing it with ISA? ISA
can be used to provide a proxy service.

If you want to set up internet connection sharing , but do not want ICS
to change your IP addressing scheme to 192.168.0.0 , you can use the
RRAS/NAT system which comes with W2k Server.
