Regarding Attachments from Microsoft Outlook

Dear All,

When a mail is sent from Microsoft outlook with HTML content, and containing
a mail attachment (this is also HTML) and this mail attachment contains a
Execl file, I could able to receive in the Microsoft outlook, but in the
outlook express 6 I am receiving it as winmail.dat file.

Can any one assist me how to receive/translate that file in the outlook
express in a proper format with the attachment.

Something is causing the message to go out in Rich Text format and not HTML
as you have originally selected. If using Microsoft Word as your e-mail
editor, disable it.

ps - please post what version of Outlook you are using and what type of
account you are working with (e.g. POP/IMAP, Exchange). There are some
additional things that can be tried if disabling Word as the e-mail editor
doesn't get it.
