Hi, my question is, if you have a Styleref form field connected to a
bookmark will the text appear as the original bookmark or is there a way that
the font and size can be changed without changing every other link to that
bookmark in the document?

There is no such thing as a "Styleref form field," and StyleRef fields do
not depend on bookmarks but instead on styles. StyleRef fields can be
formatted independently; they do not pick up any formatting (direct or
default) from the referenced style (with the sole exception of the Hidden
property). Do you want to back up and tell us exactly what you are doing?

Ok my dot language is a bit off. I am creating a document with bookmarks and
references and stylerefs. The stylerefs are for the footers (which I thank
you for your tips in "Useful Stylref tricks") when I was creating these
stylerefs it would give me an error message stating no text was in document.
So in Styles and Formatting I created a Character style. I then highlighted
the bookmark field that I wanted to reference and selected my Character
style. Now every time It moves on to the next footer it has the same font as
the previous linked field. Is there something I can do or should I just start
over?

Okay, it's not a bookmark field, it's a form field (which happens to have a
bookmark that you're using elsewhere in your REF fields). You've applied a
character style to the form field so you can insert a STYLEREF field in the
footer. The StyleRef field is using the same font as the form field instead
of the default Footer font. Have you tried selecting the StyleRef field and
pressing Ctrl+Spacebar?
