refreshing the search companion "look in:" list

Hello,
if I open the search companion and then map a drive, the mapped drive
does not show in the list of items to search unless I first close the
search tool and then reopen it

Is there a way to "refresh " the search tools list without reopening
it?

I don't know the answer to your question because I got so feed up with the
XP search function that I disabled it and removed it from the start menu. I
use the free Agent Ransack which is tons better in my opinion:

Thanks for the reply Ron.

Problem is, as far as I can see,
the Agent Ransack doesn't accomodate mapped drives at all -
so whille I also use it, and agree it's a great tool,it's useless for
this particular need.
