Refresh problem

I'm sure this is simple, but I'm pulling my hair out. I have an unbound
listbox on my form. It is tied to a unique value on my form (a customer
number). This listbox returns our customer contacts for the customer number
it is tied to. My problem is this - I have created a rolodex form to find
customers. When I select a customer, it opens the form that has this listbox
on it and inserts that customer's customer number in the appropriate textbox;
however, the listbox still shows the contacts for the last record. I know
this is a refresh issue, but I can't get anything to work. If I haven't
totally confused everyone, I could use some direction. Thanks...

in the customer number's textbox after update event add
this:
me.listbox.requery
