reformatting

Hi, can anyone help with this, I'm trying to reformat my
pc and when I click Y nothing happens, anyone got any
idea how to make it work? Thanks T.

Boot from the Windows XP CD. Format is available during the install process.

Are you using fdisk from a Windows 98/ME CD in a
pre-Windows environment (black DOS-like screen)?

You may want to try Partition Magic and using it to make
the boot floppy set (2 disks). It's a Windows-like DOS Boot
utility from which you may boot into in order to create,
manage, and delete partitions (like your C:\ drive). From
there, you can have a clean start.
