Gateway can - they likely have a special restore procedure.
If not - and they gave you an actual bootable WIndows XP installation CD -
then you merely boot with it, follow the directions, delete any partitions
it finds, create a new one - install on that partition and make sure the
firewall is enabled before you connect to the Internet to get Windows
Updates and hardware driver updates.
"B" - do you want to "Reformat the drive", "Reinstall XP" or "Restore the
PC to original state"? Please do not be offended by this question - are you
aware of the differences? If so - great -then Shenan has you on your way -
however if in doubt consider local assistance.
