reformatting tips

Can you give me any tips about reformatting/re-installing Windows 2000? Will
I be asked any complex questions in highly technical terms (loads of
initials)? Windows 98 was very easy to do.

I'll be aiming for a system that's as simple as possible since I'm a single
user without a network ie no login password or nonsense like that. I have 2
hard drives. I'll want to be able to fax.

I've made my boot disk

During the Windows 2000 setup you will be asked which partition you want to
install on. If you press "d" the existing partition will be deleted, and
then if you press enter on the free space then Windows will make a new
partition and install there. Sounds pretty easy to me :)

Only reply by newsgroup. If I see an email I didn't ask for, it will be
deleted without reading.

I don't think I have any partitions, just 2 hard drives, C and D. I will be
installing on C so will I type C when it asks?

C and D are partitions. If you want to erase and re-install Windows on C,
then press the d key with the C drive highlighted and it will be erased
