I would like to reformat my dell inspiron notebook. there are too many things
going on in the backround, and i cant even switch my wallpaper anymore. ive
transfered the files that i needed to save to my other computer.
I tried to restore the system as far back as it would go but it only goes
back about 3 weeks, ive had the computer for almost exactly a year.
If anybody has any suggestions, id appreciate the help.

-Thank you

Boot from the CD you got with the computer and restore everything back to
the way it was when the system was new. You will then have to reinstall
everything else.

The support section of Dell's website has detailed instructions for
reinstalling your software.
