Thanks.

Right-click on My Computer, choose Manage, click on Disk management,
right-click on the drive and choose Format. You will be given options to
format in NTFS.

If there is nothing of value then re-format using The Disk Management
option. If you need to keep the files on this drive then use the Convert
option (although I would make a backup first, just in case).

Converting a FAT32 drive to NTFS can result in an inefficient cluster
size. See the article by the late Alex Nichol MVP at
http://www.aumha.org/win5/a/ntfscvt.htm

Best procedure is to wipe out the existing FAT32 partition and then
create a new NTFS one, using Disk Management.

Good luck

Use the convert utility.

The OP wants to CONVERT from FAT32 to NTFS and you are suggesting he
reformat his hard drive. I'll repeat ... idiot.

If you carefully read the title of this post, you'll find what
"reformating" means

Umm NO. The title of this thread, in case your are COMPLETELY illiterate
is ""REFORMATTING a hard drive". Nowhere is "converting" even mentioned.

You are a total jerk.

So my response to NoStop telling me I was an idiot for giving the method of
reformatting (as in the subject of the post) still stands.

Never mind the title. The OP is obviously as clueless as you. Don't you read
the damn body of these posting? He wanted a way to CONVERT from FAT32 to
NTFS. I might be a jerk, but at least I can read a ****ing message and
understand what is being asked. You have proved that you cannot.
